On Friday, December 22, the Ministry of Energy presented and opened a public consultation period regarding the Green Hydrogen Action Plan 2023-2030 (hereinafter the “Plan”). The consultation period concludes on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
The National Green Hydrogen Strategy, published at the end of 2020, outlined the initial guidelines for promoting the green hydrogen industry and its derivatives in the country. In early 2022, the National Energy Policy was updated, with changes focused on supporting the transition to carbon neutrality by 2050. In this context, green hydrogen emerges as an opportunity for Chile.
