Ignacio is an associate and a member of the mining and metals law, and regulatory, and environmental areas. He specializes in the development of mining projects, as well as mining, regulatory, and environmental matters, engagement with governmental entities, permitting processes, commercial transactions, and asset management, among other areas.

In the academic field, Ignacio has been an assistant professor since 2017 at the course of Philosophical Foundations of Law and Natural Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 2020, he was an assistant professor for the course on Legal Clinic, focusing on Private Patrimonial Law at the same university, and since 2022 he has been an assistant professor at the course of Mining Law and Mining Project Development at the Universidad de Chile.
