Francisca is an associate and a member of the corporate/M&A and venture capital teams. She specialises in domestic and international M&A, venture capital transactions from both investors and start-ups, stock options, financing rounds and international corporate structuring. Francisca is also one of the founders of the LAW (Legal Advice for Women) programme at Guerrero Olivos. In addition, she has specialised in advising different boards of directors, mainly in structuring their corporate governance.
In the academic field, Francisca is currently a Professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in the Schools of Law and Commercial Law and the Venture Capital elective course. From 2018 to 2021, Francisca was Assistant Professor in the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital module in their Master’s Programme, and since 2019 she has been Assistant Professor of the Advanced Corporate Law module. In addition, she was Assistant Professor at the “Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital” section (2018-2021), of the same LL.M.
Francisca is an active participant in the Dadneo tutor network, as well as the acceleration programmes of the Vulcano VC Fund, UDD Ventures and of the Universidad del Desarrollo.
Furthermore, she is a member of the Innovation and Technology Committee at the Chile-Australia Chamber of Commerce (AUSCHAM), a member of the expert panel of Hay Mujeres, a mentor at WoomUp, and a regular columnist at the Legal Industry Magazine.
Francisca features in several international rankings including Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 in the in the venture capital area.
