Joaquín is the director of the international funds department and a member of the capital markets team. He specialises in advising clients and foreign fund managers on the regulatory conditions for the marketing of foreign securities in Chile. This includes advising on the public and private offering of foreign securities in Chile, representation of foreign issuers before the Financial Market Commission (CMF), registration of securities in the CMF’s foreign securities registry, approval of mutual funds, ETFs and alternative asset managers with the Risk Classification Commission, compliance with the ongoing reporting obligations associated with these processes, and ongoing updating and advice on Chilean regulations and standards in this area.
