Mr. Guerrero is one of the founding partners of Guerrero Olivos. He is an expert arbitrator and a member of the corporate, financing, and labour practice areas.

Education and Experience
  • Law, Universidad de Chile (1965).

Mr. Guerrero was General Counsel of the Central Bank of Chile, legal advisor to the Monetary Council and to the Ministers of Finance and Economy, General Coordinator of the restructuring of the Chilean sovereign debt and Deputy to the Executive Secretary of the Foreign Investment Committee.

He has strong and recognized academic experience; he was Dean of Universidad Finis Terrae’s Law School for 8 years, General Secretary, and later President of the same university. Also, he was Professor of Law at the School of Economics of Pontificia Universidad Católica; Professor of Jurisprudence and International Commercial Arbitration at Universidad Finis Terrae’s Law School; and Professor at the Procedural Law Master at Universidad Andrés Bello.

Moreover, he was member of the board of directors of British American Tobacco Chile Operaciones S.A. between 1987 and 2015, and member of the board of different commercial banks and corporations and member of the National Education Counsel; he is at present an arbitrator of the Santiago Center of Arbitration and Mediation, member of the Chilean Bibliophiles Society and of the Chilean Bar Association.
