Macarena is a senior associate and a member of the real estate department. She specialises in regulatory, transactional, corporate and in the structuring of new business in the real estate industry. She represents domestic and international real estate developers in the different stages of their projects including corporate structure, acquisition, permitting, construction, and sale. Macarena is also one of the founders of the LAW (Legal Advice for Women) programme at Guerrero Olivos.

Macarena was Legal Manager at Patagonland from 2019 to 2021. Also, she is a member of the Real Estate and Construction Committee of the Chile-Australia Chamber of Commerce (AUSCHAM). She is also a member of the expert panel of Hay Mujeres, a mentor at WoomUp and a member of the Gender and Diversity Committee.

In the academic field, Macarena was an assistant professor of civil law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile between 2009 and 2017.

Macarena is ranked in the “Rising Star” section in the international ranking The Legal 500, in the real estate area of practice.
