Leonardo is an associate and member of the dispute resolution (litigation and arbitration) area. In addition, he is a member of IP department in IP litigation. He specializes in civil and commercial disputes and represents local and international companies from diverse industries before civil, commercial, constitutional, tax, and administrative courts.

In the academic field, Leonardo is currently an assistant professor for Introduction to Positive Law and was an assistant professor of the courses Labor Law I and II, and Administrative Law I and II at Universidad de los Andes.
