Benjamín is a partner and a member of the dispute resolution (litigation and arbitration) area. In addition, he is the leading partner of the consumer law department, and a member of the venture capital area. He specializes in civil and commercial disputes, successfully representing clients from diverse industries before civil, commercial, constitutional, tax, and administrative courts. Also, he has experience in insolvency procedures, and complex negotiations.
He is an expert in arbitration in the construction, infrastructure, and agribusiness industries. He structures, develops, and implements tailored pre-emptive strategies to comply with consumer protection law and assist clients in consumer’s rights protection litigation. Also, from a venture capital angle, he represents investors and start-ups in dispute resolution matters.
In the academic field, he is a professor of several certificates at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and since 2010, co-professor of Civil Law at the School of Law of the same university.
Benjamín is recognized in several international rankings including The Legal 500 and Leaders League, in the litigation and arbitration and restructuring and insolvency areas.
