Miguel is a partner and member of the areas of banking and finance law, corporate law, capital markets, data protection, new technologies and cybersecurity. He specializes in all types of financial structuring, syndicated loans, acquisitions and sales and their respective financings, debt restructurings and project finance, in all types of banking matters in general and corporate governance (compliance programs).

In the academic field, he was professor of Civil Law at several universities and assistant professor of Corporate Finance at the Master in Business Law (MBL) of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Before joining Guerrero Olivos, he worked as legal and tax manager for major international banks, including Rabobank Chile, The Royal Bank of Scotland Chile (RBS) and ABN AMRO Bank Chile, and was part of the legal department of LATAM for almost 5 years.
